Brother Thomas G. Cooper PM was awarded the Honorary Grand Rank of Junior Deacon for his outstanding work and devotion to charity. Over the past 10 years Brother Tom has been a champion in raising over £250,000 for various charities. He has been involved in many fund raisers and charity events through his Mother Lodge , St. Enoch 1288, his adopted affiliated Lodge, Burns Immortal 1730 his Church, his work and his day to day life he devotes to helping and raising for others that are in need. Tom is a true leader when help is needed.
The presentation was made by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Tom Davidson at the PGL of Lanarkshire Middle Wards Installation of Office bearers on Friday 06th March 2015 at Lodge Cambuslang Royal Arch No 114.
Also on the night Burns Immortal 1730 were delighted to see another affiliated member receive an Honorary Grand Rank Award. Brother Bobby Ferguson PM, who humbly accepted his award of Honorary Grand Bible bearer for his service to Freemasonry and his devotion to his Mother Lodge, Lodge St Thomas 306, Larkhall.
Brother Bobby’s response was. ”I am overwhelmed by the messages and cards offering congratulations, once again thanks to everyone, only the third brother in Lodge St Thomas 306 in its history of 192 years to have been bestowed with such Honor, in my speech I mentioned that in accepting this I did so on behalf of the Lodge as well and also my wife and family who give me great support, my dad will be looking down from the grand lodge above with great delight. Thanks again to everyone”
